Arranging Student To Startup – Chapter 1 at SAU

‘Student to Startup’ was started with university students with the aim of using the innovative ideas, initiatives, and startups of the youth with a view to building a prospective country. The first chapter of the special competition titled ‘My Innovation, My Dream’ started on March 7, 2019, through the central coordination workshop.

The startup competition was jointly organized by the Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy-Idea Project of the ICT Department of the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Young Bangla, the dream and largest platform of the youth of the country.

The students of our university participated in the ‘Student to Startup: Chapter One’ competition conducted by 40 universities from eight departments of the country.

Our university was nominated as one of the venues in Student to Startup. 100+team participated in the competition from our university venue. ” Team Rio” from our university listed as the nominated team to participate in the National Startup Camp and we are proud to announce the team got a place in the top 30 startups of the main competition by the votes of the spectators and judges.

The SAU Entrepreneurship Development Club was the institutional organizer of the University Round which was held on 30th April and 2nd May in 2019 at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University.

Our Honourable Moderator Prof. Dr. Mirza Hasanuzzaman is the person behind the overall program arrangements on the campus. He supported and guided us from the very beginning. SAU Entrepreneurship Development Club’s Vice President Ahmed Imran Halimi & Treasurer Suriya Jaman were the Campus Ambassador of Young Bangla and Our General Secretary Rakibul Islam, President Anaeth Ullah Rafi & other panel members played the role of Campus Team Coordinator. Rifatul Islam, Preetilata, Shanjida Shahid, Adnan Hossen, Md Abdullah are some hard-working lads who made this event successful. SAUEDC provided overall support to Young Bangla to successfully arranged the event in our Campus venue
